Spencer Gray serves as the President and CEO of Gray Properties, LLC. In this role he develops, leads and executes investment strategy, performs underwriting and due diligence of all assets in the Gray Properties portfolio. Since founding Gray Properties, Spencer has been involved in over $600 Million in transactions.

 

As an entrepreneur, Spencer, has started successful businesses in the fields of media distribution, real estate and agriculture before turning his passion for investing in commercial real estate into what is now Gray Properties, LLC. Spencer has extensive experience in real estate investing starting from his first rehab and flip project when he was still in high school. There has never been a point in Spencer's adult life that real estate investing did not play some role.

 

Following his passion for music and media Spencer was accepted into the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University where he studied Recording Arts and Composition. After finishing at IU Spencer started a media consulting and services business, Schooner Records, that worked with international media organizations to build market share in the United States as well as providing audio technical services to companies such as Audible.com and Valleyarm Digital.

 

Being an avid fan of local craft beer, Spencer went on to found Sugar Creek Hops, LLC, a hop broker and grower, which eventually became not only the the largest hop farm in Indiana at the time but also the largest distributor of hops in the entire Midwest working with hundreds of craft brewers acrross the country and internationally. After the sale of Sugar Creek Hops in 2015, Spencer founded Gray Properties, LLC with his wife Alex and father Trevor.
